Walk of Oman 2021
The Walk of Oman was set to be an epic adventure across the big sands of Oman to showcase the extraordinary courage of men and women who have been injured while serving their country – and highlighting the need for continued support for veterans and their families who are struggling with mental, physical or social wounds, so they can reignite their sense of purpose and contribute once more.
After two postponements due to the pandemic, Walking With The Wounded decided, for certainty, to reimagine the expedition in the UK so our team are still able to raise funds and awareness for the cause.
In October 2021, 5 ex-military and 1 current serviceman, all with mental or physical wounds, will walk in stages from Pen-Y-Fan in Wales to the Anglo Omani Society in London.
Thank you for following, for donating and helping highlight the positive role our ex-military can make, regardless of mental or physical injuries.
The expedition is fully funded by our brilliant corporate partners so your donations go directly to Walking With The Wounded and supporting the cause.
